Here's a rare set of four cut paper silhouette portraits! They depict the profiles of a man and a woman, using black paper mounted on a tan (almost paper bag colored) paper background. They are signed by the artist. Each portrait is framed in a vintage metal oval frame with a velvet back. These frames do not contain glass fronts. They measure approximately 7.5" x 5.5".

The best thing about these silhouettes is the note that was found with them...these portraits were made in San Francisco in 1964!

Condition-wise these portraits do show their age. One of the female profiles needs a lock of her hair replaced. The black paper is still nice and dark. The tan paper shows some small patches of fading. The metal on the frames shows a significant amount of age / oxidation.

You'll get all four pieces AND Grandma's note. My home is smoke-free. :)
