AN NGC GRADED MS 66 EXAMPLE OF THIS TYPE WAS SOLD BY HERITAGE AUCTIONS IN 2021 FOR $312.00.
Purpose: To commemorate 100th anniversary of Louisiana Purchase, "second in importance in nation's development only to American Revolution." Yellow Bronze "tarnished quickly" so was replaced by plain Bronze, therefore these were probably not made in great quantity as in the other metals available in this type (except Copper).
