David Lord, a founding member of the Automotive Fine Arts Society, created the poster for this event, at which all three of Nuccio Bertone's Alfa Romeo B.A.T.s (Berlina Aerodynamica Tecnica) were reunited on the awards ramp, along Bertone himself. Fittingly, the poster focuses on a silver 1954 Alfa Romeo B.A.T. 7 Bertone-Scaglione Coupé, which was owned by Lorenzo Zambrano. In the background are a black and red Isotta Fraschini and entrance to The Lodge at Pebble Beach.
Printed using high-quality reproduction techniques for the Robert Devlin book, Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance: The Art of the Poster, in 2003. Originals of this piece are almost impossible to come by, at any price.
