2002 Pebble Beach Concours Tour d'Elegance mini-poster reproduction. Promoting the 4th annual event, August 15, 2002.
Automotive fine artist Barry Rowe was on a roll, creating his third consecutive Tour poster. For this poster, celebrating 50 years of Jaguar racing, Rowe depicted the Jaguar D-Type that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1956, driven for Ecurie Ecosse by Ron Flockart and Ninian Sanderson. Correct down the the Ecosse club decal, this is an incredibly detailed representation of this famous racing car. The car is kicking up dust along 17-Mile Drive, with the iconic Lone Cypress and a gorgeous late-day coastline in the background.
