Out-of-print, bright, festive poster celebrating the 1971 Bertone-designed Lancia Stratos HF (High Fidelity) prototype, which was presented at the 1971 Turin Motor Show. Fluorescent red, the prototype featured a distinctive crescent-shaped, wrap-around windshield providing maximum forward visibility (but almost no rear visibility).
The Stratos HF would go on to win the World Rally Championship in 1974, 1975 and 1976 in the capable hands of Sandro Munari and Bjorn Waldegard, and logged 18 WRC victories from 1974-1981. The race car won the 1974 Targa Florio, took top honors in the Tour de France Automobile five times, and won the Giro d'Italia automobilistico three times.
Numbered in a limited edition of just 100 posters, hand-signed by artist Pavel Fuksa who created the graphic design for the poster.
This poster is beautifully rendered ion a substantial stock, designed using the latest 3D modeling to rebuild the car from the ground up and the inside out.
Poster measures 19 1/4" x 27 1/2" (50 cm x 71 cm). Poster is brand new, in beautiful condition.
