This is a new, stainless steel part that replaces GM 15031996.  It is discontinued in the GM parts catalog, and listed as "Bracket, Rear Lamp Wiring Harness Junction Block".  The part ships free in an envelope. It will need to be folded per the instructions enclosed with the bracket before it is installed.  Unlike the GM part, this new piece will not rust and should last for longer then the entire life of the truck.  This is for the bracket only and does not include the wiring block/harness.
