This is a pre-owned book that is in Good shape for its age.

I researched book through library of congress website but could only find a second series. I also researched biblio.com and Abe books.com and only found a second series. There is no date anywhere in the book but after diligently researching, I found the date online with the exact cover that was from the library at The University of California.

BOOK COVERS:

FRONT: Has some scuffing and discoloration corners of front cover are slightly bent and have rubbing and some fraying. There is black lettering for Title and black design etched/stamped around it.

BACK: Has some discoloration and scuff marks. Slightly torn at corners and has fraying around edges and around corners. There is an emblem etched into cover (made this way)

BINDING/SPINE: shows slight discoloration and has some scuff marks. Features Gold lettering which is still prominent and visible. Top and bottom of spine has some fraying and does show signs of wear. Binding is tight and in tact.

INSIDE COVER: has a name written in blue ink. And a very small sticker with a name and address in red. There is tanning inside back and front covers due to age of book.

PAGES: The pages of book are all tight and in tact. A whole lot of the pages have underlining in green ink on them along with notes annotated out to side and at top and bottom. You can tell that whoever owned this book studied it heavily. Several pages have creases at bottom corners and have tiny Knicks in pages where creases are. On page 299there is a tare at bottom of page. Pages do show tanning/browning due to age.

BACK INSIDE COVER: Has notes that have been written in Green Ink. And shows tanning/browning from age of book.

Book has been stored in a box in a closet for a long, long time and has a old smell to it.
