Antique Gillette Top Grain Cowhide Men’s Mini Travel Kit Original Products.

Great antique collector’s item! This is a Gillette (made in the early 1950s) top grain cowhide leather oval small men’s zippered travel or vanity kit. It comes with all of the original products including a metal nail file, a folding tortoise-shell comb, a two piece toothbrush in a container so you can put it together for brushing, a Gillette gold razor blade set (marked Gillette) with a screw on black handle, and a tube of Quibb dental cream (I think that’s probably past its expiration date!). The leather case is hand-stitched and in good condition. The inside lining where the zipper is has come undone somewhat due to its age, but that can be repaired, and it doesn’t affect the zipper closing on the outside. This measures 4.74” H x 3.5” W.
