E' una RIEDIZIONE della serie Optima 990 - 991  che ebbe un enorme successo negli anni '20 sia in Italia sia all'Estero.

Questa nuova serie – o meglio dire “replica” - è stata emessa in Edizione Limitata per commemorarne 80th anniversario dalla prima edizione.

Tra l’altro il valore intrinseco, storico e collezionistico sta raggiungendo cifre enormi (stilografica E. 11.000 – sfera E. 8.000 – ho postato nuove immagini con prezzi) che non mi aspettavo, ma che ritengo invero un po’ esagerate (però forse credo prezzi trattabili) – vendo a E. 4.100 in quanto sto dismettendo le mie collezioni di penne ma non svendendo, in quanto assicuro che E. 3.800 è un prezzo molto inferiore a quanto le pagai circa 20 anni fa.

Sono NUOVE, solo la custodia esterna di velluto colore nero risente leggermente del tempo, essendo rimasta stoccata nell'armadio per parecchi anni. Infatti il logo AURORA stampato sulla scatola (dorato o argentato, non ricordo) risulta meno vivido, leggermente opacizzato, rispetto ad uno stampo nuovo, comunque ancora ben intellegibile

P.S. però, come detto in premessa, senza fretta - perché ho qualche problema a ritrovare alcune penne, e anche queste Aurora, a causa del disordine in casa per i lavori di ristrutturazione - infatti ho dovuto annullare vendite per 2 volte dato che non riuscivo a ritrovare questo set Aurora - comunque mi metterò d'impegno nella ricerca perché da qualche parte queste penne devono pur stare

It is a RE-EDITION of the Optima 990 - 991 series which had enormous success in the 1920s both in Italy and abroad.

This new series – or rather “replica” – was issued in a Limited Edition to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the first edition.

Among other things, the intrinsic, historical and collectible value is reaching enormous figures (fountain pen E. 11,000 – ballpoint E. 8,000 – I have posted new images with prices) which I did not expect, but which I actually consider a bit exaggerated (but perhaps I think prices negotiable) – I am selling for E. 3,800 as I am disposing of my pen collections but not selling off, as I assure that E. 4,100 is a lot less than what I paid her about 20 years ago.

They are NEW, only the external black velvet case is slightly affected by time, having been stored in the wardrobe for several years. In fact, the AURORA logo printed on the box (gold or silver, I don't remember) is less vivid, slightly opaque, compared to a new mold, however still clearly intelligible

P.S. but however, as mentioned in the introduction, don't rush, because I have some problems finding some pens, and these Aurora too, due to the mess in the house due to the renovations - in fact I had to cancel sales 2 times since I couldn't find this Aurora set - however I will put my effort into the search because these pens have to be somewhere
