Many tea enthusiasts are familiar with the Chinese oolong tea "Eastern Beauty" or "Dong Fang Mei Ren." To produce this tea, the leaves are harvested during the small cicadas birth and flight out, that lightly nibble the leaves, triggering a protective response in the tea bushes. As a result, the leaves release essential oils and their color turns red.
In an effort to surprise and delight our customers, we decided to create a GABA tea using exactly the same raw materials as for the "Eastern Beauty" tea is usually used. This resulted in a truly unique oolong, which we proudly present to you.
