This stunning, bright yellow zircon was mined in Sri Lanka, and is unheated/untreated. It is VVS clarity, 1.80ct, 6x5.7x4.5mm, with a very good cut and delicious sparkle! What you need to know about natural zircon:
First, it is not in any way related to cubic zirconia (CZ). Zircon is a natural gemstone, mined from the earth, and one of the oldest minerals known.
Second, zircon has nice hardness, but a tendency to chip because it's a little brittle. So, despite this being an "engagement" style ring, we do not recommend it as an engagement ring. Wearing during housework or sports activity or other strenuous activity is not recommended. However, if you take good care of zircons, they'll be an heirloom you can pass down!
Third, zircon has an incredible amount of sparkle, and it will easily win your heart and keep it forever, as it has done to ours.
