1940s vintage chevron striped dressing gown by Flobert in an amazing turquoise blue color. This is so stunning and my photos don’t do it justice! The gown has two gorgeous large mother of Pearl buttons on the bodice. They are decorative and have big snaps underneath them. There is a hook and eye at the waist and also a metal zipper in front that doesn’t go all the way down. The tailoring is very clever because they off set the zipper so it is hidden in the fold of the fabric! The gown is longer in the back than in front and it has a wonderful sash tie and belt loops.

The condition is very good. There is a couple of faint spots on the sash and one sleeve needs to be re-hemmed but it works as it is.

The measurements are:

34-35” bust

26” waist but if the eye of the hook was moved it can fit 27”

Hips free

16” bodice

42” waist to hem in front

44” waist to hem in back
