Used AlphaSmart Rechargeable Battery Pack. Has been fully Charged and PROPERLY Tested again two weeks later to insure it has 
held at least 90% of the charge (which is good as NI-MH rechargeable batteries will typically lose 1% of their charge per day while being idle). 
Some Battery Packs will take a charge but will be dead again the next day, those Battery Packs are culled out and sent out to be recycled.

This Battery Pack ONLY fits Model 3000. 
The AlphaSmart 3000 needs to be opened for installation.

Last photos depict installation in machine, connector will only connect in the correct direction.
