A genuine antique music sheet, with music printed on both sides of the page, each with an illustration.

On one side, "Robin Hood, Sung by Mr Beard". Complete with words and music.
On the other side, the continuation of a piece "Set By Mr Henry Purcell, in compass of ye Ger. Flute". This side has the illustration of a battle scene.

Exactly where this page comes from is unknown, but could be from publications like "Calliope, or English Harmony" that was published in 1746.

An attractive page, each illustration with handcolouring.

Size: the mount measures approx. 29cms x 20.5cms.
Condition: A bit of paint smudging top left of the Robin Hood illustration (mostly hidden under the mount). Otherwise in a good condition, with attractive handcolouring.   Please study the photographs.
