ABOUT THE STAMP:
The
five stamps, within the context of the America-Upaep Series, highlight
wonderful touristic sites, showing five landscapes that represent each
Brazilian region: Mount Roraima/RR (North region), Maragogi/AL
(Northeast region), Chapada dos Veadeiros/GO (Midwest region), Foz do
Iguaçu/PR (South region) and Armação dos Búzios/RJ (Southeast region).
The stamps portrait the natural beauty of those places, recognized by
their peculiarities and attractions, as outstanding touristic areas in
Brazil. Water, our greatest natural resource, is the common element in
all focused landscapes. Photography with graphic computing technique was
used in the composition of art.
