A stunning ink signature, "George R.I."
The “R.I” in George’s signature denotes “Rex Imperator”, the Latin for “King of the Empire”.
Signed also by three other officials. Annotated at bottom border as a "Temporary Commission."
Light general toning; scattered mottled bottom portion, mostly in margin; laid to same size mount.
Else very good with strong royal signature area.
