LIMITED EDITION, privately published in 1980 by the Franklin Library and personally SIGNED BY AUTHOR THEODORE WHITE.  The autograph page is protected by original loose tissue, not creased. The book is generally in very nice condition, typical of Franklin fine leather books, but I'll provide a final grade of VERY GOOD, due to two small wear issues:  there is a few small areas of page edge gilt loss - one on top and three on fore edges (all small, no interior impacts), and there was a page in the book which had a vertical fold.  I have straightened that page and am storing and will ship the book wrapped in shrink, which will help straighten the crease.  Otherise, pristine blue boards with clear gilt design and titling unrubbed, moire endpapers and a silk ribbon, and no interior marks in 569 pages.  is a frontispiece illustration and a few others in the book.
