Rare French Art Deco Hanging Bowl Shade Plaffonier 

3 Swallows   Made in FRANCE

A hanging light shade - sometimes called a Plaffonier - 

very attractive design in classic art deco style featuring 3 swallows in flight 

against a raised pimpled frosted opaque background - marked on the edge MADE IN FRANCE 

- no idea of maker/designer - I have been unable to find another example on line

some minor damage to area around one of the hanging holes

 and flea bite chips to inner edge (out of sight) 

 very attractive piece of glass that I used as a light catcher rather than a light shade

- as seen and photographed  - 35cm dimeter 6 - 7cm deep in centre
