The item for sale is a reclaimed oil lamp font which due to age and use is being sold as seen so please study the photos as they form part of the description and to satisfy yourself what you will be receiving -

The coke can seen in the photos is not part of the sale and is only there to give a comparison in size.

This looks to me as if it has not been fitted - i have cleaned the inside as best i can with a damp cloth but there is still a small amount of dirt inside does have some very minor specs & casting defects in the glass & some air bubbles - have tried to show all in the photos - this has a slight inner swirl to the glass and has gentle ripple effect on the outside to the top area and smooth to the middle area & bottom.

I do have more of these in this nice Bristol blue colour.

Thrown in FOC is an unused brass collar which does have some staining etc - the inside diameter is 24.1mm (this will take a Gaudard Burner with a 25mm male thread) - measured with a Vernier gauge arms laid on the threads.

This is 96mm at its widest - the centre hole has a 25.5mm diameter internally & 34.3mm externally and where the collar fits is 9.3mm high - the lip around the top rim is up to 5mm wide - all measurements approx.

No makers name that i can see - AGE OF THIS UNKNOWN.

Will be posted using a cardboard box.
