Porcini, Penny Bun mushroom (Boletus Edulis). Seeds-Micelium

Large edible mushroom of the Boletus family of the class of bastsdial mushrooms. The cap is light to dark brown on top, white below, then greenish-yellow. The leg is thick with a light mesh pattern. The pulp is white.

White mushrooms are the most nutritious of all edible mushrooms. It has about two dozen forms, differing in the colour of the fruit body and mycorrhizal confinement to a particular tree species. Our mycelium is intended for planting under garden trees in a personal plot and indoors on soil fertilized with decayed leaves and (or) manure humus.

1 package of grain mycelium is designed for 2.5 m².

Fluff the ground under the pine, fir, and spruce trees so that a depression of 5-15 cm is formed, depending on the location of the roots at the soil surface.

Spread the mycelium evenly over the entire fluffed surface. Cover with garden (or forest) soil, mixed with any humus, in equal parts.

Water with a garden watering can at the rate of 10 litres per 1 m². Sprinkle on top with the soil that was formed when listening with a deepening. Planting can be done at any time of the year and under any species of trees. Watering is carried out in dry times, often with a garden watering can of 15-20 litres per 1 m². Mushrooms appear 4 times a year - 2 times in spring and 2 times in autumn, but for the first time not earlier than 4-6 months after planting (sometimes takes a year first musrooms to grow, this depends from many factors).

The first harvest is 350-500 g / m², and the subsequent ones are 3.5-4.5 kg / m². Mycelium has grown for many years, while the tree lives.

Every year, in hot or cold seasons (when mushrooms do not grow), evenly sprinkle humus on top of the mushroom planting site at the rate of 15 kg / m².

You can't try to grow mushrooms indoors because the results will be worse than in an open area. The probability of germination is also reduced.

Amateur cultivation of mycorrhizal and other soil mushrooms does not give a guaranteed result since the mushroom harvest is highly dependent on weather and many other factors. Nevertheless, if you get your hands on it, gain sufficient experience in growing mycorrhizal fungi, and with a certain amount of diligence, you can count on good results.

Attention! A very important factor for the successful cultivation of mushrooms is the acidity of the soil. For porcini mushrooms, the optimum acidity value is Ph = 6.5-7. More acidic soil (the number of Ph is less) must be deoxidized by watering with a solution of quick lime (100 g of lime per 5 litres of water per 1 sq. M).

The shelf life of the mycelium is 5-7 years. Store in a dry place The date of manufacture is indicated on the packaging.

Notice: Only planting outdoors in natural musroom habitats!!!

Important! The date of the package is the date of productions,      mycelium shelf life is 5-7 years from the date of production.

We recommend using the Mycelium Activator during planting, which contains the necessary set of macronutrients, a hydrogel to retain moisture, a soil deoxidizer, as well as indicators to control the soil Ph level.

Instruction for planting:

mushrooms, it is advisable to set aside an area under a coniferous tree(pine, fir, and spruce)with an area of 2-2.5 m2, on which to make

a pit 20 cm deep and fill it in layers:

1st layer - fallen leaves, grass, and wood bark with the addition of humus and earth taken under tree (10cm);

2nd layer - mycelium, evenly scattered over the entire area;

3rd layer - again plant residues, as in the 1st layer, and garden or forest soil. After sowing moisturize by drip method. The first mushrooms will appear. The optimal temperature for mushroom growth is from 12 to 25C. in 2-3 months. The mycelium lives up to 5 years.
