56J Swimming Pool Pump Motor

Swimming pool pump motors are commonly found in underground pool pumps such as the Hayward Super Pump, Maxflo, Super II and many others that require a 56J frame motor. Century motors can be found on most pool pumps. Standard 1081 pump working motor. Stainless steel shaft. Sealed ball bearings. There are 4 threaded bolt holes on the surface of the motor for mounting the pump to the motor. The bolt hole is measured on the shaft with a center of 5 7/8".


Dual voltage motors are typically shipped in 220 volt wiring and it is your responsibility to verify the voltage connection before energizing the motor, the standard efficiency motor does not have switches or power cords.

Motor manufacturers can no longer produce such motors for resale in the United States, and once the stock runs out, the motor will no longer be available for purchase. Therefore, after the stock of this motor runs out, you will have to buy a variable speed motor or a brand new variable speed pump.
