Pretty diamond head ring set with white seed pearls and three small red rubies.

Round yellow shank.

Has two sets of marks , the later being for 15 ct gold, Birmingham assay office, 1922.

That was probably when the shank was enlarged or replaced.

It also has a registered design mark . It really is too small to make out the information contained in  it. 

These registered design marks ran from 1842 to 1883 and provided protection for the design for 3 years from the date of registration. 

This ring looks to date around 1850.Size UK K1/2 ( US 5 3/8) sizeable.
