ABOUT THE STAMP:

The commemorative stamp of the Bicentennial of the Revolution is an updated version of the Centenary issue, of 1917. The elements such as the orthography, the dates and the monetary standard were updated, as well as the expression “BICENTENNIAL”. On the center of the stamp, the flag is now represented by its original 5 colors: yellow, dark blue, white green and red. To the left, the coat of arms of the State of Pernambuco, “BICENTENNIAL OF THE REPUBLICAN REVOLUTION IN PERNAMBUCO” and the facial value of the stamp; to the right, the mention “1817 – 2017” and the legend “FLAG OF THE REPUBLIC OF MARCH 6TH 1817”, just like in 1917, and the face value. Vector illustration technique was used.
