Extensively customised, with a lignum vitae and maple biscuit; ebony end pin; vintage cowboy star; cap bolt resonator plate fixings; bronze tailpiece; ivoroid banjo tuner buttons (on original Gotoh tuners); red corian nut; aged copper truss rod cover; refaced rosewood headstock and red cross (John Fahey reference). it also has a custom ebony nut cover to raise the strings for slide play.
the guitar is approximately 25 years old, I have had it for 20. It has a few dings and marks that are consistent with age, which I have tried to show in the photos. it has a repaired crack at the base of the neck heel, (also shown in photos), it came to me with this cosmetic defect (character), and it does not affect the function of the guitar
