Crafted in the 1950s, a shower gift for my parents married in 1952,  the light blue  oval-shaped bowl with swirls has a diameter of 30 inches and a height of 11.5 inches, while the glasses are 2 5"h and are designed to hold a generous amount of liquid. If you look at  see a somewhat ruffled top, however , it is a true optical illusion as it is a completely flat around the edge . There are no chips or cracks but a few light scratches .
