FULLY HAND SEWN THROUGHOUT. FASHIONED OFA HIGH SHINE IVORY SILK SATIN WITH SLEEVES SET OFF THE SHOULDER HAVING BEAUTIFUL FLAT PLEATS AND PIPE DETAILING.
PIPING ATOP THE SHOULDER WITH FAN PLEATING ACROSS THE BUST WITH FLAT PLEATS AROUND THE WIDE SET NECKLINE. DOUBLE CORD PIPING CROSSES OVER EACH SIDE OF THE FAN PLEATING OF THE BUST.
PIPING RUNS DOWN THE CENTER SEAM WITH SHARP POINT BOTTOM. ROUNDED PIPING ON EACH SIDE OF THE BACK REAR WITH FRONT, REAR, AND SIDES BONED, HOOK AND EYE CLOSURE IN THE REAR WITH HAND HAMMERED HOOK AND EYES.
INTERIOR IS LINED IN LINEN.
CONDITION: THERE IS SOME SMALL SCUFFING AND WEAR TO THE SILK AT THE BOTTOM CENTER REAR WITH SOME LIGHT SOILING IN THAT AREA. SEVERAL SMALL DOTS OF STAINING ARE ON THE PLEATS OF THE REAR NECKLINE. SEVERAL OF THE FRONT FAN PLEATS NEED TO BE TACKED BACK DOWN AND THE LEFT CORD PIPING IS LOOSE, AS PICTURED.
INTERIOR AROUND THE NECKLINE HAS VERY LIGHT STAINING WITH SOME SMALL SCUFFS SEEN TO THE FRONT POINT, VERY MINIMAL.
A WONDERFUL AND EARLY 1830’S BODICE.
