Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Souvenir Card, B100, issued for the Dallas Coin and Stamp Exposition, DCSE '86.

The card reproduces the back of a $10,000 Federal Reserve Note, Series 1918, which features a large engraving of "The Embarkation of the Pilgrims." The card also contains a block of four of the design for the engraved 5c Pilgrim Tercentenary stamp of 1921, Scott 550, showing the Signing of the Compact.

 It was purchased at the BEP Visitors Center in Washington, DC on the morning of its release, cancelled there, and air expressed to Dallas where it was cancelled with a Saint Louis, MO large bullseye postmark on its first day later that afternoon.  (There was no pictorial show cancel for this event.)

This card was individually hand-prepared and cancelled on its day of issue.  It is believed that fewer than three dozen cards were prepared in this manner.

The card is in excellent condition.
