A stunning Indian error from an old estate collection put aside in the 1920's and unearthed by us. We traced a few other examples of similar 1870 cuds from past auctions, but all were low to mid-grade circulated coins. Needless to say from the pics, the assigned grade is laughably low--the coin is gorgeous and virtually gem save for 2 light marks below F on OF. Also light brown with some red. Just back from NGC, the holder is scratch-free.
