Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX f/3.5-5.6G VR II zoom lens.  Excellent cosmetic condition.  Autofocus is quick and quiet, but Vibration Reduction (VR) has been disabled because it was not able to initialize.  For the techno-dweeb types ;-), it may be that the horizontal gyro is defective or not making a proper connection: When the camera was powered on, the image in the viewfinder would shift momentarily to the left and then return to center, but VR then did not respond at all.  The VR actuator flex-cable has been unplugged inside the lens to avoid the jiggling.  The photos were taken with another AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens.  Note that some professional photographers recommend turning VR off when using a tripod.  So for tripod shots, dead VR may not matter.

The optics appear to be clean and unblemished.

Listed as "For Parts or Not Working" so no one can claim it doesn't work at all. ;-)  But it actually works quite well.  See the photos of the brainless lens in item # 305180149674, taken with this lens.

Thanks for looking,
