For sale is an early circa 1970’s solid oak, Albert Jeffrey “Eagleman” cupboard cabinet with 2 bottom large cabinets, 2 sliding drawers to the top of the cabinet and 2 smaller upper cupboard sections. The cupboard cabinet has some lovely oak knots and patterns within the wood and has been professionally waxed and polished which shows the oak’s beautiful deep antique golden honey colour that comes with age.

Albert Jeffrey was an ex Mouseman apprentice who worked for Robert Thompson in his workshop in Kilburn Yorkshire and later set up his own carpentry workshop making his infamous Eagleman oak furniture. The Eagle motif is present to the bottom lower right hand side of the cabinet. The original cast iron black hinges, handles and catches are also on the piece of furniture and in mint condition.

The surfaces to the oak cupboard cabinet have a deep adzed patterning to them and some stunning carved patterning which really shows the skill of the craftsmen who made it. This really is a stunning piece of Yorkshire oak furniture. Even the inside of the drawers have stunning oak patterning to them. The top cabinet section does detach from the bottom cupboard which makes it easier to transport and is easy to fit back on.
