Vintage Antique 30s Ivory Satin Crepe Wedding Dress, S 8 10

This is: An original vintage wedding dress from the 1930s.

Beautiful soft satin (rayon or silk) with crepe back which hangs so well. Large front fixed bow, godet panels at the sides, side press-stud fastenings. A small belt panel on the right hand side at the waist with press-studs (not sure what this was meant to be attached to originally).

Beautifully handmade, impeccable finishing and detail.

Condition:  Great overall, but there are subtle stains to the lower half of the dress and under the arms which I have tried to photograph (in the last photos on the listing). I have gently washed and line-dried this beautiful garment and the stains are so old that they didn’t come out. Still an invaluable and collectible item, and a rare find.
