Vintage heavy crystal glass, modernist and abstract cylinder vase with irregular design, made during the 1950s.

This orange and purple blue vase is stunningly beautiful done by Jan Kotik, artist from former Czechoslovakia, where she was commissioned in Beranek Glass Works , a family art studio which the family members worked as artists, and a numberous artusts well-known in the region were part of the creative team.

The glassworks was closed in 2008. Truly a rare piece!

Condition:

This vase is in good condition with very light wear, no chips no cracks or any repairs. I don’t see any scratches on the vase except underneath and a bite on the rim, see pictures for more details.
