Very rare early Georgian Corkscrew with cover that screws off to make the handle.

Small and compact, so could be to remove cork from your perfume or scent also?

The sheath has some damage from use as shown.

The metal is left unpolished, but you could polish up to a sheen. 

Measures 10cm tall

still sharp point, which is incredible for the age.
