Vintage tube of Max Factor (of Hollywood) lipstick.  The color is Clear Clear

Red. The lipstick line was called Hi Fi and was added in 1956.  It was

advertised to coincide with the invention of color television. It still has about

¾ of the lipstick inside and is still soft and usable.

The label on the bottom is in remarkably good clean condition for its age and the gold tone metal tube is in very good condition. It’s clean with small surface scratches and a small dent on the top, but does not appear to have gold color loss. There is a small lever on the side that moves the lipstick up and down which you can adjust as the lipstick gets used.  The lever functions very well.  When you remove the outer sheath, the inner tube is printed with the following words:  Just apply Max Factor HI FI and forget it. No waiting. No blotting.

This lipstick is in overall excellent condition considering when it was made. Please see photos as they are part of the description.
