This spectacular carving of two bears is actually a storage container for tobacco and a pipe. The carving is made of Black Forest Walnut, which originates in Germany, and is known for its dark colour and is used in high-end decorative pieces. The top of the carving opens up to reveal a storage space for a small pipe and tobacco. There are two bears, one standing on top of a tree trunk and the other looking up from the base of the tree trunk. The bears have orange glass eyes.
