Here we have a bust of Michaelangelo’s David, the statue I believe it to be of ceramic/porcelain it is quite heavy and has the finish of Antique brass so it has a mottled effect in parts.
It looks simply beautiful amongst other items I have shown it settling on my Antique books that are many and on one of my tables I love it myself.

Although this is a reproduction of the original because of the way it has been done it looks much more expensive and aged.

A POTTED HISTORY OF THE STORY BEHIND THE BUST OF DAVID.
Michelangelo’s David was sculptured from one massive block of marble. The massive 17-foot-tall original statue weighs 6-tons, the equivalent of around 90 adults.
It is carved from a single slab of white marble from the quarry’s in Carrara, Tuscany so, David is quite a tall sculpture.

A famous Renaissance marble sculpture, the 17 ft tall David depicts the biblical figure just prior to the slaying of Goliath.
Created between 1501-1504 in Florence Italy, David is seen by over 1,4 million visitors annually at the Galleria dell’Accademia.
