Up for sale is this vintage Technics CD-4 stereo system. It includes a AM/FM Tuner, receiver, record player and 4 speakers. It dies not include a tape player. The cabinetry is in very good condition. It has one chip in the veneer as seen in the photos. The rest of it is excellent with only minor marks for a stereo it’s age.

It powers on and the stereo works ok but the speakers are a bit quiet. The record player motor you can hear whirring but it does not spin. As such I am selling it for parts or repairs.

This is a very large and heavy item. Postage is not feasible. I am happy to work with a freight company if you arrange and organise it. I will under no circumstances be involved in any payments to the company. I recommend you use insurance if you take this option as once it’s out of my hands no damage will be taken responsibility for.

Pickup is in Forster NSW 2428. I can deliver for a fee to anywhere on the coast between Newcastle and Port Macquarie (at my convenience). I sometimes come to Sydney too so may be able to drop it off for a fee. This would be at my convenience and not available often.
