Schilling Collector Series tin toys are inspired by the toys from the past. These toys are made today using the same time-honored techniques that were employed by the toymakers of a bygone era.

Each toy starts as a flat sheet of metal which is printed and then cut into its many separate pieces. Each piece is then formed in to its final shape bypassing it through numerous filling stations until it's final shape is achieved. These separate pieces are then hand assembled to create a single finish toy. 28 different pieces are used in this 10 toys construction. Because this is such a labor intensive process, it is easy to see why 10 toy production was quickly abandoned him when plastic molding was developed. Now these 10 toys are sought after by collectors around the world.
