FASHIONED OF A BLACK CORD TEXTURED SILK AND IS COLORFUL METALLIC EMBROIDERED GOLD LAME IN A REPEATING CHINESE SCENE OF TREES WITH A MAN HOLDING A GIFT BOX.
PLEATS TRIM BENEATH THE SEAM IN BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR WITH A DRAPED BELTING THAT IS HEAVILY RUCHED AT EACH SIDE WAIST WITH A LARGE SILK COVERED COIN BUTTON ON THE REAR AND SKIRTING OPEN FROM BUTTON TO BOTTOM IN LAYERED EFFECT.
SNAPS CLOSED AT THE CUFFS. NO CLOSURES, MUST BE SLIPPED OVER THE HEAD TO BE WORN.
CONDITION: THERE ARE SOME SMALL HOLES ON THE FRONT SIDE BLACK BAND BOTTOM AND I PERSONALLY WOULD GIVE A PLEATING TO THE SILK TO HIDE THE SMALL HOLES.
ONE TINY PINHEAD HOLE IS ON THE CENTER FRONT NECKLINE, MAY HAVE HAD A BROACH OR JABOT DETAILING AT ONE POINT WITH ONE PINHEAD HOLE ON THE HIGH REAR LEFT BACK AND ANOTHER PINHEAD HOLE JUST ASIDE THE UNDERARM SEAM ON THE REAR LEFT BACK.
OTHERWISE AN EXCEPTIONAL, RARE, EARLY PIECE OF PARIS COUTURE.
