This style of vase is known as a Cameo vase.

The definition of Cameo Glass is as follows:

"An object formed of cased or flashed glass where portions of one or more of the outer layers are removed either by carving, cutting, etching or other means, leaving a design, in relief, against a background of a different color."

This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION - No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or damage of any kind.

Measurements are approx. 9 3/4" tall x 5" rim diameter x 3 1/2" base diameter.
