Patrick & Liberty Mint

Liberty Mint was a mint based in Provo, Utah that was initially owned by Howard and Larry Ruff. Howard Joseph Ruff was a financial adviser and writer of the pro-hard money investing newsletter The Ruff Times. Liberty Mint began operations in 1984 an was owned by the Ruffs until 1989. At that point it was sold and Liberty Mint, Ltd. was incorporated in the State of Colorado on March 15, 1990 as St. Joseph Corp. VI. The Company changed its name to Petrosavers International, Inc. on July 26, 1993, and again changed its name to Hana Acquisitions, Inc. on September 12, 1996. On June 9, 1997, the Company changed its name to Liberty Mint, Ltd. It ceased operations in 1999.
