This rhodolite garnet from Tanzania is a chameleon. In sunlight, it is a gorgeous grape jelly purple. In incandescent light, it's pinkish purple. In neutral white light, it's grayish purple. It color shifts to different shades of purple depending on the light source, with pinks showing up more in warm light. It is 1.23ct, measures 7.0x5.6x4.07mm, oval cut, VS clarity, with a nice, well-balanced cut with no windowing.
