THIS PIECE WAS ACQUIRED IN NORTHERN ITALY FROM THE ORIGINAL ESTATE AND IS FASHIONED OF WHITE COTTON WITH VALENCIENNES LACE INSERTION. RED EMBROIDERED STARS ARE APPLIED AND RED RICK RACK TRIM.
BUTTONS CLOSED IN THE REAR. THERE IS A SMALL MONOGRAM, CP, ON THE HIGH RIGHT SIDE WAIST.
CONDITION: MINOR AGE COLOR WITH TWO TINY SCUFF STAINS ASIDE THE TOP OF THE LACE INSERTION ON THE REAR LEFT AND SMALL LIGHT BROWN STAINING ON THE STOMACH. THERE IS A LIGHT ERASER SIZED BROWN STAIN ON THE SIDE WAIST. NOTE THAT THE BOTTOM STARS IN RELATION TO THE TOP STAR ARE UNEVEN, IT IS HOW THAT IT WAS MADE. I WOULD RECOMMEND A DRY CLEANING.
