This is a highly popular general purpose retail / admin./ desktop LASER barcode scanner by the World leaders in laser barcode scanning, Symbol/Motorola (now owned by Zebra). The model is the LS4208-SR, in EXCELLENT lightly used condition, and guaranteed to work perfectly. It is fully tested and working, and is complete with NEW plug and play 2 metre USB cable (CBA-U01-S07ZAR). This powerful scanner has a typical maximum range on medium density codes of up to 19 inches, and is great for reading on curved surfaces, awkward items, small or badly produced codes. It is the natural more powerful upgrade to the LS2208, one of the best selling barcode scanners ever made. Plug and Play USB cables are extremely easy to install and the scanners work out of the box without special drivers, software or separate power supply . When a scan occurs the characters from the barcode appear on screen on screen as if they had been typed in, so any application that will accept typed characters will work with this scanner !
