The painting is housed in a beautiful heavily ornate gilt frame.

The young lady in the painting is dressed in a blue gown with white lace collar together with  a yellow/gold scarf to her décolleté, her hair is typical of the regency period beautifully coiffured with flowing curls cascading her cheeks.
