A pressed option of the oolong produced by our company based on Dongfang Mei Ren (Oriental Beauty) tea, the same tea that owes its famous flavor to the little cicadas that nibble on the tea leaves, forcing the plant to intensively produce essential oils.
Many of our customers liked this tea in loose form, so we decided to produce a series of tea pancakes as well, since pressing provides better and more convenient storage.
The flavor combines the light fruity sweetness of Oriental Beauty with the characteristic freshness and slight sourness of GABA tea.
