Vintage  B & L Ray Ban Outdoorsman Ambermatic Sunglasses with gold frame, amber glass lenses that darken in sunlight. With original case.

These are in very good condition for vintage glasses with just a few tiny nicks that are not visible when wearing nor do they affect your vision.  The gold finish is slightly coming off of the temples  The original case does show some marks and fading (see pictures).  The B & L logo is printed on the bridge.

These are from the late 70's early 80's.  

Regarding Vintage Ray Bans:

- From 1937 to 1998 Ray Bans were made by an optics company called Bausch and Lomb in USA and France, hence the 'BL' engraving on vintage lenses. The 'Ray Ban' logo printed on the lens only appeared on later models from the 80's onwards, earlier examples with no lens logo printed are still genuine

- From 1998 to present day Ray Bans have been made by a company called Luxottica in Italy, lenses inscribed with 'RB'
