Pair of Chinese cloisonne vases traditionally handcrafted in Beijing, using the cloisonne method, which is a technique for making enamel objects.

Cloisonné vases are made of copper, on which metal strips are welded or glued to delimit the patterns (forming partitions), which are then filled with colored enamel using a syringe. The object is then fired and sanded.
