What are Fennel Seeds?

Fennel is a flowering plant in the carrot species. It has an anise taste which is why it is one of the primary ingredients of absinthe. The seeds are brown or green in colour when fresh, but slowly turn a dull grey as they age. They are often used as an ingredient in naan breads. 

Where do Fennel Seeds Come From? 

Fennel is indigenous to the Mediterranean but has since been grown all over the world including Asia and North America. They like to grow in dry soils near a seacoast or on riverbanks.

We use Royal Mail and Fedex to deliver all our orders. Orders 4kg or under will be delivered by Royal Mail 48 or Royal Mail 48 Tracked. All orders over 4kg will be delivered by Fedex Next Day courier service. All orders are processed within 1 working day and will usually be delivered within 2-3 days after an order is placed.
