This vintage vinyl toy cat from the 1940s is a rare find for any collector or enthusiast. If you look at the back you will see elastic in a loop. These were used in the 40’s and 50’s to hold a baby bottle.  The animal was placed next to the infant and the nipple placed in the baby’s mouth. The elastic held the bottle in place. They were discontinued when it was determined that too many babies were choking and drinking too fast.

Has some cracking in the vinyl and is missing some in places - understandable for it’s age. Still has its bell and fluff ball in its paws!
